Now you know what Quickblog does, learn about why we do what we do — and the people who make it possible
The talented people that make Quickblog (founded 2021) possible.
What we believe that give us our raison d'être (aka, why we're here).
Long-gone are the days when blogs (web-logs) were just online diaries. Search, especially Google, serves as the majority source of traffic to all websites, and blogs are a key component of this to provide organic online foot-fall.
We believe in two paradigm-shifts that will alter the "economy of work" and the "ecology of the internet".
The first is that more people will set to work for themselves and they will require one or more websites, and most importantly, a blog to drive traffic to their sites. It is a fact that more entrepreneurs and creators are emerging, creating businesses primarily for themselves, or helping others with theirs, the age of the "gig", and we believe this will continue to grow.
The second is that the web builder space will become more and more competitive where Tumblr & WordPress will start to lose their market share, especially the latter. This will open up the blog app market to be disrupted with easy, fast and flexible solutions and Quickblog will have already made strides to be that solution of choice and is taking measures to build and protect its brand name.
Some statistics: There are some 620+ million blogs in the world (520m of which are on Tumblr) and Wordpress has a 10% market share. Quickblog aims to take more and more of this share of market away from, intially Wordpress’ blogs, but then branch out to capture additional market share.
The opportunity is BIG.
